The beginnings of the company were, as so often, the Hobby. The first balls were actually treated and prepared for the company's own purposes. In 1966, Wagner launched the first ball. In 1967 there were 4 balls.
The company name changed several times from "Wagner & Stark" to "N.Wagner & Co" and finally to today's "Golf Wagner GmbH". Today, the company Wagner still produces mini golf balls for various labels such as "Ravensburg", "System Golf" and "wh-size".
